Nikki Hammond

Nikki Hammond is a 4th year Communication and Leadership student with certificates in Social Entrepreneurship and Nonprofits and Food and Society. She has been involved with the UT Microfarm since her freshman year, and became the co-lead in April 2020. The Microfarm's mission is to host educational volunteer opportunities to the student body and provide fresh, free, organic vegetables to students through the UT Outpost. Nikki also worked at the Outpost last summer as a food pantry and career closet intern. Nikki is passionate about food justice and strives to create positive change to make a more equitable and sustainable food system. Her favorite veggie to grow is purple cauliflower, for obvious reasons.
